Arrival in Cluj-Napoca :
RATUC is the local public transport company of Cluj-Napoca. The company runs an extensive public transport network within the city using trams, trolleybuses and buses. Download the transport programs/lines from the official website: http://www.ratuc.ro/programe1.php
The price of a ticket (bilet) is 4 Lei (~0.85 EUR) - valid for two ways. Tickets are available only at special kiosks (opened from 7 to 8 p.m), located in the stations. The tickets may not be bought from the driver. Be aware to mark the ticket right after getting in the bus because controls are frequent and the amends are high.
The main taxi companies in Cluj-Napoca are: Pro-Rapid, Diesel, Terra-fan, Pritax, and Nova and the price varies between 1.6 and 1.9 RON/km
The Romanian currency is RON (Romanian Lei). ATMs (cash points) are located in the center of the city as well as in the neighborhoods and give 24-hour withdrawals in lei on your Visa, MasterCard or Eurocard.
