Required documents for an Erasmus+ application
The following documents need to be sent to the International Relations Office of TUCN before the mobility:
15th of July each year- for the first semester mobility
15th of November each year- for the second semester mobility
At the end of the mobility period, the student will receive from the TUCN:

Romanian language courses
The Department of Foreign Languages within the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca organizes free of charge Romanian language courses for the international students. The courses are held weekly, 2 hours/week.
Arrival in Cluj-Napoca:
RATUC is the local public transport company of Cluj-Napoca. The company runs an extensive public transport network within the city using trams, trolleybuses and buses. Download the transport programs/lines from the official website:
The price of a ticket (bilet) is 3.5 Lei (~0.85 EUR) - valid for two ways. Tickets are available only at special kiosks (opened from 7 to 8 p.m), located in the stations. The tickets may not be bought from the driver. Be aware to mark the ticket right after getting in the bus because controls are frequent and the amends are high.
The main taxi companies in Cluj-Napoca are: Pro-Rapid, Diesel, Terra-fan, Pritax, and Nova and the price varies between 1.6 and 1.9 RON/km
The Romanian currency is RON (Romanian Lei). ATMs (cash points) are located in the center of the city as well as in the neighborhoods and give 24-hour withdrawals in lei on your Visa, MasterCard or Eurocard.

Eating out :
The cost of food per month could range somewhere between 50 and 150 EUR.
Markets: Mihai Viteazul Square (located in the center of the city), and other smaller outdoor markets in all neighborhoods (Mănăştur, Mărăşti, Zorilor, Gheorgheni).
There are two MALLS: Iulius Mall (Gheorgheni neighborhood) and Polus Mall (Manastur neighborhood)
Supermarkets: Billa, Selgros, Kaufland, Cora, Sigma.
Medical care :
Before entering Romania, foreign citizens need a travel medical insurance. In case you find yourself in need of medical assistance, you can go to any authorized medical unit, public or private.
