International students - Admission

The applicant citizens of EU countries, European Economic Community and the Swiss Confederation submit the documents required by CNRED (National Centre for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas within the Ministry of Education) to the International Relations Office of the university.

The International Relations Office within the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca sends the applications to the National Centre for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas within the Ministry of National Education.
After the Studies Recognition Certificate is being issued, the applicants may apply for admission to bachelor/master and PhD studies in the same conditions as Romanian citizens, including regarding the tuition fees.

The admission to Bachelor and Master studies takes place in the same period and in the same conditions as for the Romanian citizens, according to effective rules for admission for each faculty in part.

The admission to PhD studies takes place in the same period and in the same conditions as for the Romanian citizens, according to effective rules for admission for each doctoral school in part.

Visa Extension for EU students exceeding 3 months of stay in Romania

EU citizens that intend to stay in Romania for a period exceeding three months starting from the date of entering the Romanian space are obliged to register at the local structures of the Romanian Office of Immigration in the area they intend to establish their residence.
